Product Overview:
Explosion-proof gland is a device mainly used for the fixation and protection of wires and cables in mechanical equipment electrical, marine electrical, and anti-corrosion equipment. Its functions are cable fastening and sealing. Fastening means locking the cable through the gland to prevent axial displacement and radial rotation of the cable, thus ensuring normal cable connection. Sealing refers to the commonly mentioned IP protection, that is, dust and water protection.
Scope of Application:
1. Hazardous areas of Zone 1 and Zone 2.
2. Explosive gas environments of Class IIA, IIB, and IIC.

Installation Method:
One end of the outlet of the stainless - steel waterproof connector can lock the incoming and outgoing cables and play a role in waterproofing, dust - proofing, and anti - vibration. The other end can be connected to the equipment box body, or it can be connected to the electric equipment with internal threads at the inlet and outlet according to the selected thread.
Product Characteristics:
It is an isolation - type explosion - proof product made of high - quality 304 stainless steel. Its special clamping claws and clamping ring design can clamp a wide range of cables, with extremely strong tensile resistance. It can be waterproof, dust - proof, resistant to salt, weak acid, alcohol, oil, grease, and general solvents.
Thread Specifications: Metric thread M, German thread PG, British thread G, and American thread NPT.
Protection Level: Zone 2 isolation - type explosion - proof (EX dII). Within the specified bayonet range, use a flat sealing ring to screw and tighten the gland to reach IP68 - 10Bar.
Operating Temperature: - 40℃~+100℃, and it can reach +120℃ for a short time.
Product Materials:
Parts A, C, and F are made of stainless steel, part E is made of nylon PA66 (fire - proof grade UL94V - 2), and parts B and D are made of EPDM weather - resistant rubber.
